"Phonographic tree"

These pillars of iron are made in the same way as the wooden pillars of old Japanese houses. They are constructed by joining parts using a typical Japanese form of fixture - wedges and sockets.
It represents the sounds and memories of its inhabitants through the centuries that have been preserved and protected by the iron.
